Summer Reunions '09

Ok, I know I am so late in getting our reunion pictures up, but better late than never right?... Plus, I finally found some time today to blog binge so hopefully you won't feel too overloaded.

Our rig at a rest stop (Nora is taking a little "snack break.")  This was her first long road trip and she did ok for the most part... though Mommy and Daddy were about to throw the Baby Einstein movies out the window we were so sick of listening to them.

We went to San Diego California to San Clemete Beach for the Whitworth Reunion and had a total blast. Nora got to camp and play on the beach for the first time (come to think of it, Dave and Heather had never camped on the beach either!)

Our camp site. We got to go to sleep and wake up to the waves crashing down below us... It was so cool and peaceful!

Not all of our fun was in the Salt Water!!! Nora was way more entertained digging in the sand and burying herself.... Then, Jon and Jamie hooked us up in their swimming pool!


One of my favorite parts of the trip was stopping by Vegas on our way home to visit with and stay with my college volleyball teammate/roommate buddy. It was so great to see her... we even got to go play some ball with her stake league and had so much fun (even though no one let us be on the same team after the first round :) It was just like the good old days. I sure missed her! Love you Lori!


NEXT REUNION....


The Black Family Reunion was up in Midway, Utah this year. We stayed in a HUGE cabin house that accommodated all of us very well. Nora had such a great time playing and swimming with her cousins.Me and my Mama cooking the whole gang breakfast... And yep, my shirt is on backwards. Thanks for noticing!


Boys will be boys....



And girls will be girls....


Now honestly, how often do you look up and see this in the clouds? So cool!
