Black Family Reunion 2011 -- Bear Lake

We went to Bear Lake this year and had a total blast.  We decided to do a 3-day reunion instead of our normal 2-dayer.  Everyone agreed it was much better and we were able to fit in A LOT more fun and play time.  Here are a couple of pics of our adventure.

One of Nora and Strat's favorite things to do is hang out with cousins.  They have so much fun with them.  This is Avery they love to play with.  Look at Strat's face... Couldn't be more happy!

Chillin' at the beach in Bear Lake.  The girls all wanted to bury themselves.

We rented a boat and had such a BLAST on the lake.  This was Nora's first boat ride.  She was a little timid and scared while riding, but later she said it was her favorite part of the reunion.  Way to conquer your fears Nora!

One of our only family pics from the reunion.

Dave offered a Raspberry Shake to all the cousins for the best sand sculpture.

My cute boys!

Nora Coconut!

These are my cute sisters Lisa and Alena.  Tiff is missing -- I think she's on the boat right now?

Yeah, he's eating sand!

Stratton got to go out in the water with his buddy cousin TJ.  He had so much fun splashing and playing!  By the end of the day, his little white jacket was brown from all the mud, sand and water.  Oh well, at least he had fun.

My bro-in-law Butch was our studly boat driver the WHOLE DAY!  What a trooper.  That raft looking thing in the back of the boat was what he pulled us on and had us giggling like little kids.  It was awesome!!!

Me and my nephew Connor in front of our rental boat.  Totally worth the money!

Day 3 of the reunion we had a chance to do all the little things that we never get time for.  We did crafts, games, volleyball, a treasure hunt and just visiting.  Here is Nora and her Grandma after she founds some fun treasures.

I had to put this picture in to humble myself.  I just hit the ball and yes, the ball is on MY side of the net after my 64 year old mother just stuffed me.  How embarrassing!  I never heard the end of that one.
